Laparoscopic / Robotic Assisted
Gallbladder Surgery – Inflammation of the gallbladder (cholecystitis) secondary to gallstone formation is quite common in the U.S. By age 65, 10% of men and 20% of women have gallstones. Most are cholesterol stones associated with obesity and rapid weight loss. Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy (removal of the gallbladder) is the treatment of choice for cholecystitis (inflammation/infection of the gallbladder) and symptomatic cholelithiasis (gallstones).

A hernia usually happens in your abdomen or groin, when one of your organs pushes through the muscle or tissue that contains it. It may look like an odd bulge that comes and goes during different activities or in different positions. Most hernias eventually will need surgical repair. We perform nearly all of our abdominal operations via laparoscopic, minimally-invasive techniques.
Weight Loss Surgery
Bariatric Surgery includes several operations performed for patients who are morbidly obese and have failed to achieve adequate and lasting weight loss by non-surgical methods. Bariatric Surgery can help patients achieve weight loss by either restricting the amount of food they can eat or by inducing a degree of malabsorption so that not all of the food eaten gets utilized.
