Dr. James Nangeroni is a board certified general surgeon and Director of Robotic surgery at Southern Ocean Medical Center. Dr. Nangeroni performs gallbladder, stomach, colon, small bowel, weight loss, and hernia operations using small incisions which allow for faster recovery and reduced pain. The DaVinci robot is being utilized in most of Dr. Nangeroni’s surgeries. Dr. Nangeroni joined the practice in 2018 and has quickly established himself as an integral part of Stafford Surgical Specialists.

He is known for his perseverance, organizational skills, and excellent communication with patients, advocating for high-quality, patient-centered care. Dr. Stufflebeam performs a wide variety of minimally invasive and robotic surgeries including hernia repairs (inguinal, ventral, incisional, and hiatal), colon resections, gallbladder surgery and emergency cases such as appendectomies.
